Robert Lewis (R.L.) Black is a Boston-based artist, musician, and author. In the realm of comic books, illustration, and other narrative pieces, Black works in the horror, science fiction, and fantasy genres. R.L. Black was recently published in Métal Hurlant, the seminal French science fiction and fantasy comics magazine.
The majority of R.L. Black’s creative effort is devoted to retro-styled comics that blend modern narrative themes with early horror-comics graphics to create an engaging, suspenseful storytelling environment.
