Emerald City Comic Con

📅 March 5–8, 2026

The first stop of the year is Emerald City Comic Con, one of the largest pop-culture conventions in the Pacific Northwest, bringing together comic creators, artists, and fans from around the world.

At ECCC I’ll be premiering my new art book:

“The Void: The Art of R.L. Black – Version 1.5.”

This expanded edition features new illustrations, additional process material, and a deeper look into my creative workflow.
If you’re interested in horror, science fiction, dark fantasy, and surreal imagery, this book will be available for the first time at the show.

I’ll also have original art prints, comics, and other merchandise available at my booth.

Terrificon

📅 August 2026

Later in the summer, I’ll be appearing at Terrificon, Connecticut’s largest comic convention, which brings together comic creators, pop-culture celebrities, and artists from across the industry.

By this point the Morbid Fantasy magazine will be printed and available, and I’ll be selling copies directly at the show along with artwork, comics, and other merchandise.
